Podcast + Editing Product

Product Overview

A Podcasting + Post-Processing user first uploads their optional intro, outro and theme song. After recording an episode, the user uploads episode files to a unique folder in their Google Drive folder and shares the folder with [email protected]. The post-processing vendor is notified of the newly uploaded and shared folder, then edits and prepares the audio for publishing. Processed audio is reuploaded to the same Google Drive folder within 72 hours.

Process

  1. Soundspace onboards and invites a new user to their folder

    1. Once signed up, a Google Drive folder is created for the user via automation

    2. A Soundspace team member is notified to organize and conduct an onboarding with the user to orient the user to the folder structure, rules, and shows them the README file containing written instructions.

    3. The soundspace team member then shares the folder with the user

  2. User records and uploads re-usable intro, outro and theme (optional)

    1. Intros, outros and themes are uploaded in the β€œ_VO AND THEMES” folder in .wav format

    2. These files are intended to be reused for each episode

  3. User uploads and shares unedited episode folders

    1. User creates a unique folder containing a single unedited episode in .wav format (multi-track .wav files also allowed)

    2. User shares the folder from Google Drive to [email protected]

  4. Vendor edits and re-uploads edited audio

    1. Vendor uploads a folder titles β€œProcessed audio” to the episode folder within 72 hours

    2. User is then responsible for uploading the processed audio to your desired podcast publishing platform.
